Digital x-rays are computer generated images. These images require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film type x-rays. With this system pictures are taken via a small electronic sensor, then instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto a video monitor in the treatment room. We can see your teeth and surrounding structures immediately!

Digital X-rays offer more precision since we view the image on a computer monitor, instead of holding up a 35mm film up to the light. This process also eliminates the wait for x-ray film to be processed.
